I have 150 acres in Hickman Co. for the 2012 hunting/fishing season. Includes all small and big game hunting and year round fishing. With stocked ponds and river frontage. RV hook-ups, w/bath house, Hot shower, washer and dryer.
Large Turkey and Deer population. Established food plots, feeders, salt lick, and one hunting hut (4'x8', 2ft off the ground) with swivel chairs, lift up shooting windows and propane heat. (large enough for 1 adult and 1 juvenile hunter, or husband and wife). We disc and sow the food plots each year. You provide the seed, and tell us when you wanted it sowed. The permiter of the woods has a road cut around it , where it can all be driven with a 4x4 or ATV for handicap hunters, or for accessing harvested deer.
Not looking for club renters. Or a hunting Club. We prefer families (2 or 3 hunters)
1 large 8 point killed last year, and 1 large 10 point this year. I have seen several large deer this year. (several 8 pt's and 2 big 10 pt's or better). Abundance of spring turkey, flocks of 20 or 30 seen at a time. Lots of big birds.
Our farm is a cattle farm. We keep our cows on a rented farm from late spring to mid to late December. Bring them home in the winter to calve, then carry them back in the spring.
Probably 60% pasture, and 40% woods. Pastures are all divided with patches of woods, which are great for cover. There are livestock, barns and houses in the area, so we want only experienced hunters. Probably 2 mile of woods on the back side of our place, which is not part of this lease, but very secluded. Very little hunting pressure from surrounding property.
