Anita has pursued her interest in pottery taking instruction from local and nationally acclaimed potters since 1997. Among them include Leana Lucus, Lewis Snyder's Studio-S Pottery, Mark Isenburg, Greg Pace, Timothy Weber, Stephen Jepson at the World Pottery Institute in Geneva, Fla., and Steven Hill's Red Star Studio in Kansas City, Mo. In the spring of 2000 she began teaching at The Renaissance Center in Dickson TN. Presently she has six classes that include adult hand building and wheel throwing. Anita has a small home studio where she specializes in functional pottery.
